I was fortunate enough to be in Toronto for my birthday last year. I caught a ride back to Ottawa with my good friends Dave and Robyn... who also asked me to stand up for them in July when they get married. Anyway... came home with this little one. She was a runt dropped off at a pet store in a sack with 7 other kittens. She had 3 different parasites in her gut and one pound and one ounce at first weigh in. OBVIOUSLY I couldn't just leave her there. So she came home with us and I called her little one for the first 3 months because I couldn't come up with a suitable name. I still call her Little now and then even though she's probably about 10 pounds of purring fluff.
